Fairhope is one of a kind place, a city in Alabama rich in history. Founded in 1894 as a single tax colony, Fairhope’s main purpose was in providing the value of lands for the whole community. For years she has attracted people from all over the country to come and make her their home. It is a vibrant town that lies on the Eastern Shore of the Mobile Bay, well-known for it’s artistic appeal and incredible sense of community. There is no better example of this than the magnificent bay front park—one of the area’s rare public beaches— accessible to locals and visitors alike. The beautiful downtown area is a must see. It will not take you long to notice the lovely flower gardens on every corner and the smiles from the local proprietors as they welcome you in. It seems like there is always something to come and be a part of in Fairhope.
